using my Muslim Market Buddha, Confucius, emperors, generals and Mao fans, I created a lesson about artifact analysis and decoding accessories. When I learned that there was a Fan Association of North America, I contacted them and their former president came and gave my class and the art class a talk about fans focussing on China. He left me with his powerpoint which is much more complete than mine.  I can upload them if anyone is interested.
