I will arrive Pu Dong airport on 6/29 at 10:55PM. I wonder if I can check in at such a late time even If they allow me to stay in the dorm
two days early. Anyway, just let me know, thank you very much!
One more question, will there be computer facilities in the dorm?

Hi, Emily, great that you did your homework! :)
I will check the room availability and let you know ASAP. ECNU provides computer lad for students to use, and also the Confucius Institute office has a computer that students can get access to. Unfortunately, you will need to bring your own computer if you need to use one in the dorm.

It's funny that we not only have the same Chinese name but also similar English name.
Luckily the English spellings of our names are different so that wouldn't get people confused.

周六握别，余意缠绕。 上海之行在即，集结号已吹响。愿各位带上好心情，好身体，在上海华师大这一大屋檐下，度过一个愉快，充实的集体学习生活。对于如何丰富即将到来的集体学习生活，你们有什么想法和建议请倾心相告。作为你们的勤务兵，我会尽心竭力地去实施。
目前我有一个想法即班费的筹集数量问题。以每人250元人民币为好或是其它数量。班费的用途主要有二：1。集体外出之贴补（至少有两次）。2。 答谢有关组织者及任课教授对我们这次学习的关爱。以上想法当否，盼告。在班费的操作上我以多还少补，透明支出，管用分离为原则。

Hi Professor Huang, Shenzhan, and All,
I'd like to share the info. with you here. Remember that I mentioned at the Orientation I made a mistake on my application online with NYS Dept. of Edu. by choosing Chinese as a subject area? Now the problem has been solved with the help of Mr. Samuel Cheung within two days. He is such an efficient, capable, helpful, and considerate professional. Just keep in mind that he will be the right person to get advice and assistance from in the future.
Thank you, Professor Huang and Shenzhan, for inviting Samuel to our orientation and giving us an informative presentation.
Emily, it's been long since I heard you have the same given name as mine. We finally met. Isn't that nice? Ha, ha, ha!
Our class monitor, I don't have an objection to your suggestion.

大家好
首先谢谢 China Institute，申展以及黄教授，给我这个难得的机会去华师大进修，活到老学到老以及专业领域上的提升，如何在三年内考上纽约周教师执照，都是我目前的人生规划，当然最重要的是要和各位老师们相亲相爱过一个暑假，也是很重要的罗，离开校园很多年了，马上要重温校园生活还真期待呢。
申展，我有各问题，不知校园里可以使用信用卡吗（ or ATM？），下飞机时大约要兑换多少US＄可以够6周的校园杂资？周末外出时银行还有开着吗？
叶班长所说班费，我没有意见，都好，辛苦了！

关于梁老师的问题，就我上个暑假的经验，学校大门口就有一个ATM, 我用美国的银行卡就可以取出人民币,不过有一些手续费.而且每次取款的金额有限制,好像是3000元人民币.不过我也建议不要一次把6周所需的人民币都取出来.
国际信用卡在上海很多大商场都可以使用,但是在小商店可能就不行了.我还没在校园里使用过国际信用卡呢.
