Teach China Summer Study Tour 2010 Blog

Daoism is a mystical religion, difficult to understand.  Forms of the ten thousand things. Dao Te Ching.  Metal, Wood, Water, Earth.  Walking up the mountain certainly feels like a pilgrimage.  The process of walking up the mountain is definitely a spiritual experience.  Daoism states that ultimately the Dao will win out.  Non-interventionist.  One can manipulate the use of the Dao naturally to allow it to flow into their lives.  Special education to me is a practice of Daoism in a way.  What is in accordance with the natural process of learning?  It’s about the experiential.  This is how we tend to learn best.  Why are these people at the mountain?  Perfectibility is possible here and now for everyone.
